Budgie man, Square Eyes (aka me writing this) hits the virtual shelves today with ‘Slowcoder’ featuring Paul Innes + remixes by Aspark, Animator & T3XUAL Vs Will Addict.
The original, a house and breaks mashup, comes complete with rockabilly chorus via Beautiful Burn frontman and guitarist Paul Innes. On the remix, Aspark gives it the full percussive prog breaks treatment, with quintessential mind melting breakdowns, sweeping build ups and pitch perfect atmospheric sparkle. Fellow New Zealanders Animator & T3XUAL (with French label ‘Warp’ partner Will Addict) give it dubstep and minimal techno overhauls respectively.
